    First quarter holidays in Brazil

     January 1st, the 1st holiday of the year, celebrates the entry into the new year. There are also two other dates that have gained national stature in Brazil. This is the feast of the founding of Rio de Janeiro on January 20 by Estacio de Sa, a captain who died fighting the French colonizers. The other date is the day of the founding of Sao Paulo, January 25th. The Carnival, which is celebrated on March 4th (closing), is another essential date on the Brazilian calendar. It is an event that attracts thousands of people from all over the world.

    Second quarter holidays in Brazil

    Good Friday, March 30, commemorates the night of Christ's death. This day is followed by Easter Monday, which marks the resurrection of Christ. The feast of Tiradentes, celebrated on April 21, celebrates the memory of Joaquim José Da Silva, a hero who stood up to the Portuguese occupier. Labor Day, as in many countries, is celebrated on May 1st. Corpus Christi is a religious holiday that takes place on May 31st. It refers to a miracle that occurred in the 13th century in Bolsena.

    Third and fourth quarter holidays in Brazil

    The first party of this semester is Independence Day, September 7 is a commemorative date of the country's declaration of independence. The month of October meanwhile also includes a single holiday, Notre Dame d'Aparecida. Our Lady of Aparecida is celebrated on October 12, it is the Patron Saint of Brazil. The country celebrates the dead on November 2nd. Another celebration on November 15 is the commemoration of the proclamation of the Republic. The Christmas party on December 25 closes this list, with half a holiday on the eve of the year.
